Princess Lolly

My real name is Kaytlyn, but you can call me Lolly. It's a childhood nickname from my Momma & I loved it and the thought of being a princess so much, I now have it tattooed on the inside of my left wrist. 

I am an incredibly sarcastic, loud, sweet, compassionate, intelligent, creative & confused 20-something, living back in my hometown after a 12 year adventure in the dirty South(west).  

My family is cray (zee) but I love them more than anything. 

I literally couldn't have better friends. Each and every one of my besties is like a beautiful badass unicorn full of loyalty, love, wisdom & cheap bottles of wine. They are the coolest, smartest, bravest, most creative group of women I know. I'm blessed beyond words (and considering how much I like to talk/write, that's really saying something).

a few things I love:

compassion. fresh fruit. rapping while i put on my makeup. having random dance parties. concerts. random acts of kindness. whiskey. bookstores. guys in flannel shirts. poetry (especially anything by shinji moon). laughing with my friends. swimming. people with open minds (and hearts). feminism. mah babies (cousins, godkids, nieces, nephews, kids i used to nanny).

a few things I hate:

ignorance. math. birds. misspelling a word when i spent so much money on a college education. rude people. tomatoes. racism. sexism. 

So apparently, I love way more than I hate. Who knew? :)
